Vessel Repowers and Generator Replacement:

For over 30 years AEGS has been one of the Seattle’s most trusted repower specialists. Not every hour put on a marine engine or generator is the same. If you are finding your engine or generator doesn’t have the power it once did, a repower might be the best, most trustworthy decision to make. AEGS has the experience to:

ENGINES:

  • Select the right engine for your boat’s length, displacement, and hull design.
  • Consider prop type and determine how much horsepower your boat will need.
  • Determine whether or not a new shaft, strut, prop, or cutlass bearing is needed.
  • Pitch each prop to the horsepower of the new engine.
GENERATORS:

  • Select the correct generator for you and your vessel’s needs.
  • Verify proper breaker and wire size to distribution panel.
  • Factory trained electricians.
  • Install quieter Gen-Sep exhaust systems.

We work closely with each client in selecting the proper engine or generator for each boat. Only after your vessel is running up to the latest standards—from haul-out to sea-trial—do we consider it completed.
